Welcome! I'm Yifei Wang. I am currently a final-year PhD candidate in quantitative marketing at MIT Sloan School of Management.
My current research spans the areas of privacy, fairness, digital divide, and consumer search. A common theme of my on-going research projects is understanding questions that are intellectually challenging and practically important, particularly those around the privacy and inequality challenges arising from the rapid development of modern technology.
In my investigation of these problems, I have employed a wide range of methods, including causal inference from observational data, field experiments, theoretical modeling, lab studies, and large-language-model based textual analysis.
